보려고 보려고 했지만 미루고 미뤘던 영화인데

<폭스캐쳐> 베넷 밀러 감독 영화라는 사실을 알고서 냉큼 봤다가

무한 입덕...

폭스캐쳐, 머니볼 모두 실화를 바탕으로 한 스포츠 영화인데

단순한 실화 각색 영화가 아니더이다.

삶과 인간에 대한 심리적 통찰을 담고 있는 영화들.

그래서 실화와는 많이 다른 방향으로 내용이 각색되기도 했고 그걸 비판하는 사람들도 있지만

재미만을 위해 내용을 바꿨다기 보다는

완결성 있는, 삶에 대한 통찰을 담은 하나의 이야기로 다듬는 과정에서 어쩔수 없는 일이라 생각한다.

폭스캐처에서는 결핍과 콤플렉스에 대한 깊은 이야기를 다뤘다면

머니볼에서도 한 남자의 트라우마와 콤플렉스,

서로 부대끼며 살아갈 수밖에 없는 인간에 대해 이야기한다.

물론 야구 이야기도 흥미로웠다.

메인 주제인 세이브 매트릭스는 사실 예전에 기사에서 봤을 때 성공 사례가 많지 않다고 봤고

실제로 이 빌리도 성공시키는데 몇년이 걸렸다고 하니

그렇게까지 믿을만한 건지는 모르겠다만

그래도 자신의 모든 걸 걸고 체제를 바꾸려고 했단 것 자체가 멋지다.

참 그리고 대단한 것이

나는 원래 또 브래드 피트를 안 좋아하는뎈ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

이 영화에서는 또 겁나 멋있데?

아니 폭스캐쳐에서 채닝 테이텀이랑 마크 러팔로도 그렇고.

베넷 밀러 감독은 배우들 멋있게 찍는데 뭐가 있나보다.

겁나 멋있게 나와... 내가 본 브래드 피트 중에 가장 멋졌고,

이게 감독의 능력이라는 것을 알 수 있는 게

영화 속에서 이렇게 나오던 사람이

프로모션자리에서 이랰ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

안경도 머리도 총체적 난국이다.
